A Parent–Teacher Meeting was conducted on 5 December 2025 for all 1st and 2nd year Intermediate students. Parents interacted with lecturers to review their children’s academic progress and received guidance for further improvement.


B.Sc and Intermediate students participated in the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Indian National Song Vande Mataram on November 7, 2025. The students sang the national song patriotically on campus to mark the occasion.
K. Sowmya, 1st Year Bi.P.C student, won a Silver Medal in the SGF Under-19 State-Level Football Tournament held at Kurnool on 24th September 2025
Intermediate Bi.P.C I and II year students enthusiastically participated in a world record event on 11-09-2025 for seed ball preparation, aimed at promoting environmental awareness and enhancing vegetation across forests and barren lands. Sixteen St. Joseph’s institutions took part in the event, collectively preparing 11,90,796 seed balls. St. Joseph’s College for Women, Visakhapatnam, alone contributed 1,63,251 seed balls. The World Records Union officially recognized this remarkable achievement, and the certificate was presented to the Principal, Vice Principal Dr. Sr. Hema, Provincial Superior Sr. Rose, and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Annecy, Visakhapatnam Province

Vriksha Bandhan (Save Trees, Save Future) program was organized by the Department of Botany to raise public awareness about the importance of tree conservation. First-year BiPC students tied rakhis to a 100-year-old banyan tree near the Visakhapatnam Railway Station as a symbolic gesture of protection and respect for nature

Kargil Vijay Diwas was commemorated on 26th July 2025 at the college campus. An elocution competition was organized for Intermediate BIPC students. Senior Advocate D. Ramana graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, distributed prizes to the winners, and paid tribute to the brave Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect the nation and safeguard its citizens.
On the occasion of World Population Day, 11th July 2025, an awareness programme was conducted for intermediate students. Dr. Chenda Likitha, Medical Officer at UPHC Gnanapuram, addressed the implications of population growth and discussed women's health with a focus on birth control.

Students and parents actively participated in the Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting 2.0 held on Guru Purnima (09-07-2025). Parents interacted with lecturers to discuss student progress and enthusiastically took part in games, competitions, and a plantation drive on the college campus. As part of 'Talliki Vandanam,' students worshipped their parents, adding emotional and cultural significance to the event


Bi.P.C. senior and junior students proudly won the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes in the poster painting competition on the theme 'India of My Dreams', held on 4th July 2025. The event was organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra, a vibrant platform that empowers youth to express their creativity and raise awareness about important social issues
