On the occasion of World Soil Day (December 5), the Green Globe Nature Club (Botany) and the CRESCO Club (Agriculture Science & Rural Development) organized a Workshop on “Advanced Plant Propagation Techniques,” along with a soil conservation awareness rally



World Ozone Day 2025 observed on 16th September with lectures by Dr. K. Swapna, Programme Manager, Sustainability and Resilience Unit(GVMC) and Sri J. Ratnam (Green Teams, Vizag) on the theme ‘Science to Global Action.’ Students also shared their views.

GGNC (Green Globe Nature Club) members participated in a world record event where 11,90,796 seed balls were prepared to promote vegetation across forests and barren lands. Sixteen St. Joseph’s institutions took part in the event, with St. Joseph’s College alone contributing 1,63,251 seed balls. The World Records Union officially recognized this achievement, and the certificate was presented to the Principal Dr. Sr. shyji, Vice principal Dr. Sr. Hema and Provincial Superior Sr. Rose

"No Vehicle Day" is observed on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month to raise awareness about air pollution. Organized by students from the Green Globe Nature Club (GGNC) (Botany Department) and the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (RRR) Initiative (Chemistry Department), the event promotes environmental responsibility.
